October the month of booing, fall, flowers, Aubrey's birthday, really getting school going and trying to not feel to overwhelmed with all the outside and inside work that needs to be done. It was a a tough month for me emotionally, but I won't go into that at all. Overall, I am going to try to keep the writing short so that I can get this up and posted an on to the next thing. It is currently March 2026, and I just want to get caught up...so here goes.
We were boo'd on the first day of October! LOL! This year was not as many booings. Maybe the kids that did it are getting too old. I felt like because Olivia was gone we didn't get boo'd much and my girls were not as into at as they used to be.

We had dinner and games at the Mills one night and this turned out to be the best night of booing. We got a little tip that some friends had been boo'd so the kids all headed out to wait for the booers. They had so much fun surprising the booers and had quite the stories to tell when they returned to the house. It was definitely the highlight of the booing season for my girls.
We had a treat waiting on our doorstep when we returned home which was also nice!
Meanwhile Olivia was getting used to being at school and we were getting used to her not being home and finding times to chat in the evenings or different times of the day.
God made such a beautiful creation for us! Thank you Lord for the beauty and daily mercies you give us!
Oliver is just the sweetest cuddly cat for Aubrey in the evenings.
Olivia came home one weekend and I made some pumpkin bars and pumpkin bread for her while she was home.
Claire and Kelsey went out and got a fun basket of treats for Aubrey for her birthday. They are sweet sisters to Aubrey.
I love our sweet kitty cats! They are so fun!
Aubrey turned 15 on October 13th. And I think in a rare occasion I actually had gifts for her on her birthday! WOW! And I made her an ice cream cake! Aubrey had been wanting a new phone so we got a her a new phone for her birthday (she is still just on wifi no service), and she had to pay for part of it. We sure love this girl and all that she adds to our family. I will write more about her in her yearly post.
A gift basket from her friends!
And I forgot to do her last night at 14 pictures so this was like that day or the next I think.
One day I went to watch Kael run and jump in track. It was a beautiful day, but it was cut short with some dance drama. Ugh. It was still fun to watch Kael for a bit. And the mountains were so pretty!
Too many cat pics...but he is just so cute!
We went to the homecoming game at CK, hoping to get to see Carter play a bit, but also to see Kelsey as she was in the half time court. She looked cute, the game was fun and it was a fun night to get out.
Each group had decorated their golf cart and then threw out things off. It was cute. Here are a few of them.
Kelsey's and her friend!
They pulled off the win! It was a crazy game and super fun to watch them come back and win.
Hans and I decided to drive over for the day and spend the day with Olivia in Ellensburg. It was rainy and cold, but we enjoyed getting to spend time with her. We watched a football game and then headed back home. It was a long but good day.
We went and watched some more CK football in hopes of getting to see Carter play.
We had a fun costume day at co-op! Here are few pictures of our friends.
We went booing a couple times with these cute little treats!
And our neighbors brought us these fun oreos.
Look at this flexible girl!
The booing team! Haha! They had fun!
The girls still love carving pumpkins each year. These years it doesn't take much work on my part except cleaning off and roasting the seeds. Yum! The girls all do great job making the cutest pumpkins.
We were going to make a dance advertisement for Nutcracker for the girls. Hans made this one on Chatgpt. It was pretty funny!
Raelyn wore this costume to dance one night during Halloween week.
This was Raelyn's very cute Taylor Swift outfit she came up with and made for Halloween.
Aubrey and her friend Aria dressed up as Subway Surfers. They were very cute. I didn't get a picture of Aubrey by herself unfortunately.
Kaelly looked so cute as a light stick guy!
They all had so much fun and the weather wasn't near as bad as it had been all that day. They got a ton of candy!
And their favorite part...the candy counting, sorting and trading!
Claire and Kelsey a princess and her bunny.
And there you have it! Another month done!!
