March Madness

March has been busy and crazy and full of madness!  Ha!  After Claire's birthday and the death of our kitty it has been mostly just life as normal.  Homeschooling, activities, and normal stuff.  Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.

Raelyn has been growing up so much after the past few weeks.  She loves playing and keeping up with her sisters, she is talking lots and saying more words, and she loves to get up from her nap and just come downstairs now.

Night time reading is always happening at our house with daddy...

The girls love their new big bath tub.  And it is nice for us too to be able to fit all 4 in the tub!

Being silly...

 Oh boy!  She's too cute!

After Aubrey cut her hair in February it was driving me crazy, because it was so long in the back and short in the front.  So I gave her a cut to try and make it look better.  It turned out cute!

St. Patrick's day!  All the girls in their St. Patrick day shirts.  The day before we had to have our Irish dinner of corned beef, potatoes, and cabbage with whiskey cream sauce...yum!!

Doing some selfies!  Ha!  They are hard with my big camera ;-)

I turned 34!  Ah!  How did that happen?  HA!!  The girls were so sweet and surprised me with flowers that morning.  Their faces and excitement made my day!!  They were so cute and proud of themselves for surprising me.  That night they again "surprised" me with dinner out at Olive Garden and they all did so good out.  We had dessert at home with a piece of cake we bought at the Olive Garden and strawberry shortcake.  I got lots of nice cards and gifts and my car washed in the car wash!  Woohoo!

My pretty purple flowers!

And finally I have been feeling sad about how fast my baby is getting so grown up so I have taken quite a few pictures of her sleeping at her nap time.  She is so sweet and still my baby!!

And Raelyn loves to be on the counter when I am getting ready for the day.  This day she put on some make-up...lol!

And this day she was putting in her contacts just like mama!  So cute!

Finally a selfie from Livy!

Now it is on to April already!!  Oh my!

Bye bye sweet kitties...

Just a year and a half after we got our two sweet kitties, they are both gone.  Back in July right after I discovered they were infested with fleas, Patches disappeared.  We missed her lots but still had Pumpkin.  Pumpkin made it through the flea infestation and was super healthy.  We moved here and she was seeming to do really well.  Shortly after my parents left I noticed that Pumpkin wasn't eating as much as she had been.  One day after thinking she might be gone since I just hadn't seen her very much I found her up in the guest room just sleeping.  Her eyes were weepy and she felt bony.  I took her to the vet the next day and began a week of nursing her with spendy mends and multiple vet visits.  Everything we tried didn't work.  She completely lost her appetite and none of the meds helped her regain it.  On March 9th she died in our laundry room where I had been keeping her so she would rest and be contained for me giving her meds.  It was very traumatic for me and Olivia especially.  We all still really miss her.  She was such a sweet and good kitty and still so young.  Our girls just loved them!!  So now we don't know what to do.  We may get a puppy, we may someday get another kitty.  I don't know yet.  All I know is having pets is tough, especially when they die..sniff, sniff, sniff!!

Claire's 6th Frozen Party

On March 8th we had Claire's 6th birthday party and she wanted a Frozen party.  The stores were completely out of Frozen party supplies so I had to get a bit creative.  It turned out really cute and was  a fun party to plan and put together.

The food was blue and purple jello jigglers (Claire has been wanting jello in squares for a long time!), strawberries, pirate booty, frozen grapes, and chocolate covered pretzels and animal crackers.

Claire and her birthday cake!

Prince Hans and Anna

Our sweet 6 year old!

 And the decorations....

Claire had lots of friends attend! They made "ice" bracelets or necklaces, but I goofed and didn't check the beads on the string I had so the "ice" beads didn't really work.  Then we had snacks and then played games.  We played freeze dance to Frozen music, snowball toss which turned into snowball fight with marshmallows, and then pass the "ice" and when they got out they got their party bags so and then we did the pinata filled with lots of candy!!

Finally we had cake and ice cream!

The video where I forgot to light the candles before we started singing and forgot to turn the cake around!  HA!

And then gift time!  She got lots of fun gifts!  Thanks everyone!!

On Sunday morning her actual birthday we had our tradition cinnamon rolls for breakfast!  Then we had a very sad day as our cat died that morning.  She had been very sick and not eating and she took a turn for the worse the night before so I knew she wasn't going to make it much longer.  It was very very sad and traumatic for me and the bigger girls!!  So after a burial for the cat we tried to cheer things up with Claire's gifts from us and her grandparents.  She got a trunk with dress up clothes for Elsa and Anna and a few other toys and things. Also daddy brought her 6 roses!!  And we had her special dinner that night of "breakfast", french toast and eggs...yum!!

 Happy Birthday Sweet Claire!!
