Claire celebrated her golden birthday this year turning 9 on March 9th!! I can't believe this little girl is just one year away from being double digits. Boy does time fly by too quickly! Thursday was her birthday and she requested mashed potatoes and gravy so I made some chicken to go with it and veggies. She opened her presents and then I had to head out for a children's ministry meeting at church. Daddy took the girls out to ice cream for her birthday. Here are a few pictures from her birthday night.
On Saturday we had her birthday party. This year she chose an American girl themed tea party! We had 10 girls including our 4 so it was perfect. I found some cute tea cups at the dollar store and made those into the party gifts. We also did a fun little craft of making little flower pots for their American girl dolls.
Cucumber sandwiches!
Crafting was up first! They had a lot of fun painting the little pots and putting their flowers in.
Time for "tea"! Well none of them actually had tea and they all just had yummy punch in their cups! And then ate their snacks.
Group picture! I just love this picture! All the girls with their dolls or cats for the big girls!
Present time! Claire received a lot of fun gifts from her friends.
Claire requested an ice cream cake this year. So we found this great cake for half price at DQ. And I wrote on the happy birthday and put on the candles! Tough stuff...lol! But it turned out cute and ice cream cake is always a hit with the kids!
And even though it was cold and wet the kids ended the party with some balloon jumping! They always love to get out and jump on the trampoline....
The Kopp girls ended up staying a bit longer than everyone else. So they had fun playing games and we had second tea party for dinner. It turned out to be a fun day!!
It is time to get caught up again on my fun little blog! I better get it done before I completely forget what happened in February...lol! Why is this year flying by so fast already?!! Ok here it goes....February in review!
Super Bowl weekend. The kids playing outside in the rain with the neighbors...love it! Walking our friends the Kopps dog in the rain as well. We dog sat for them for the weekend. Scout did pretty well, but once he discovered our cats upstairs he wanted to eat them! Raelyn decided she needs a boy dog named Scout to be his twin...oh boy!! Lol! We watched the super bowl with our friends and had a lot of yummy and a great time.
Raelyn and Holden on super bowl Sunday
We have had the most snow I can ever remember having in Washington this year since we moved here 13 years ago. So here are some more pictures of the snow...so pretty!
This was a Monday and we still had Scout. I fell down the stairs and broke my tailbone! UGH!! After that we took Scout home and the kids played while we chatted. They had so much fun and so did us moms! Then we decided to order pizza and Hans picked it up and we had dinner together. A fun day even though I broke my tail bone. I was also having some anxiety about a new mole on the bottom of my foot and Samson throwing up. Both have been resolved thankfully. Samson had a bad case of the worms. And I saw the doctor and he thinks it is ok to just watch the mole on my foot and one other.
My baby was tired and I will take any lap naps I can get...they are few and far between these days!
Upside down but you get the idea. We made these fun cardinal handprints for the grandmas for Valentines Day. They turned out cute!
Some random silly pictures. Girls ready to say happy Valentines day to Ashia.
Just being cute and me deciding I should get my new camera out more. Your welcome!
they obviously think it is summer!
Samson...our big man!
Here are the Valentine cards the girls made this year for school. And that Monday night we had fun doing the Parent Test App. Two of the girls look more like me and two of them look more like Hans. Can you guess which ones before you look at the pictures? I still hold to 3 of them looking more like Hans and only one looking like me...lol!
Valentine pictures! Of course the girls do not love me taking Valentine pictures, but hey I still love it so had to get some cute pics of my girls! A few with our kitten Delilah too! Side not all of these are straight out of the camera as I barely have time for blogging much less editing my pictures! LOL!
Valentine's Day! We made these cute bubble gifts for all the neighbors!
Dinner table all set pretty! We had steak and shrimp and baked potatoes and asparagus! So good!
More I need to take more pictures with my new camera pictures...
Playing outside...doing who knows what with that big branch!
Working on the Grand Prix AWANA cars!
Bowling night! The girls love bowling and it is so fun to do. We had a great time and the girls are getting better all the time!
The kids have been singing a hymn each month in front of the congregation. It has been really neat and they have learned a lot of great hymns. This is the February hymn.
Our rental is still for sale and hasn't sold yet. I went to check it out after the renters moved out and found this big rut. It has had a lot of traffic through there but no offers yet. The house is so cute, but the neighbor's houses and gravel road are bringing it down. Hopefully it will sell soon or we may have to keep renting it!
