San Diego Family Pictures

 When we were down in San Diego in 2016 we had photos done on the beach but  a really great photographer who was reasonably priced so I decided that this year we must repeat that with the same photographer. We had these pictures done the end of August at a different location this time not right off the big ocean but on the bay of Coronado near where we were staying. So there was a little bit of everything for backgrounds. In the beach pictures you can even see the carriers that Hans works on in the background. They turned out great! And I really like them. The girls are so much bigger than 4 years ago. My only regret is that we didn't get a picture of just the 4 girls on the sand like we did 4 years ago. This year we also had Stella along for the shoot so that was kind of fun to have her in some of the pictures with us.  This pictures posted in reverse order and I didn't want to redo it. Aubrey Faith ~10 years

Aubrey Faith turned 10 on October 13th! This little girl is such a light in our family. Her smile and helpfulness, her hugs and love she gives all bring so much to our family.  Aubrey is our adorable little fire ball that is very flexible and loves to clean! She works hard at her chores and is diligent in school.  She still likes to play with her sisters and can be found playing and giggling and sometimes fighting with them as well. The girls tend to go through phases of playing games like roblox or minecraft, and just playing with their toys and imaginations. I have to keep a constant eye on all of their media usage. Aubrey is very creative and talented at many things. She loves to do art, dance, and sing and is quite good at all three. She is a beautiful dancer and even though it has been a hard year for dance she has persevered and kept dancing. Doing just one ballet class this year is so different after taking so many last classes last year. But I am glad that she has kept at it. 

Aubrey has always been such a shy little girl when we are out places and she still for the most part is. But this year she has blossomed a bit and found some friends at church that she can open up with more, which is so good.  Our church has grown this year despite COVID and we have added some new families with little girls in her age range so it really exciting to see more girls around to be friends for our girls. 

Aubrey is in 4th grade this year and things are going well at home. We have been studying state geography, U.S. history, science (the human body), poetry, and art together as a group. She like art and geography the best but I think all of these subjects have been pretty fun to study together this year. Individually she works on math and English. For English she does reading (she has read the Andi series, and a few other classics), spelling,  and language lessons. 

Aubrey has such a sweet spirit and I know it is because she loves the Lord with all her heart, soul and mind. Aubrey can be intense at times but I know she loves fiercely and works hard and I know she will go far in life. I am so glad that she is my daughter and that we get to see her grow and learn at home. What a treasure she is!

What is your favorite outfit or style?  I like to wear comfortable stuff...so...sweat pants and shirt, comfy clothes

What is your favorite book? I don't know because I don't read books. Oh The Green Ember...oh wait can you change it to Harriet Tubman.

What are you excited about? skiing, camping and boating and not wearing masks

What is your favorite drink? I like a lot of drinks so I don't know I like them all!

What is your favorite dinner? crepes

What is your favorite dessert?ice cream

What is your favorite kind of ice cream? chocolate and vanilla

What is your favorite snack? I don't know...candy

What is your favorite vegetable? corn

What is your favorite fruit? strawberries or apples and blueberries and watermelon

What is your favorite toy?ummm...beanie boos

 What is your favorite song or favorite artist?  I can't choose because I like a lot of songs.

Who is your favorite pet? Stella

What is your favorite thing to do outside? I like to explore the woods, jump on the trampoline and go on bike rides.

What is your favorite thing to bake, make or do with Mom? bake cakes and cookies

What is your favorite thing to do with Dad? jump on the trampoline

What is your favorite thing to do with your family? camping

What is your favorite thing to draw?  food...I like to trace things though

Who is your favorite character in a movie, show or book? Heather is my favorite character in the Green Ember

What is your favorite game to play?Uno Dare I don't play Roblox anymore but I like that too.

Where do you like to go? I want to go to Australia and Hawaii and Japan and Florida.

What makes you Happy? ice cream

What makes you sad? uh...can you skip this question...dogs that don't get adopted and are left in cages

What is your greatest fear? I don't like being alone in the dark

How would you describe yourself? I don't know (she should know that is she is kind and sweet, spunky and funny, flexible and a beautiful dancer!!)

Aubrey you are so so loved! We are so glad you are such an amazing part of our family. Your smile and laugh brighten our home. And we can't imagine our family without your cartwheels and splits, giggles and jokes, and loving heart! We love you so much Aubrey!
