Aubrey's one year pictures...

Little miss Aubrey is getting so big and is 13 months already.  She is becoming quite the little handful these days.  She is a goer and now climbs everything including our chairs and then on to the table.  She loves everything the big girls are doing and just the other night insisted on having a sucker because the big girls each had one.  She is really into screaming for communication which drives me crazy as she screams for everything from I am hungry, to I am tired, to I am frustrated. I am trying to work on signs and words but it is going slow as her screaming works for her.  I think she is also working on getting her two bottom molars.  We had an allergy test done on her last week for the top food allergens and she was negative for all of them.  I am so thankful that she didn't end up with a food allergy and that she out grew her very high sensitivity to dairy.  She is also gaining better.

Getting her one year pictures were tough since she is going.  I am always excited for their pictures when they get older because dresses look so much cuter when they are standing but picture taking gets that much harder.  I was able to get a few cute pictures of our little one year old though. So here they are.

Here she is being her little silly self...

Love this little cutie!!!

Trick or Treat!

We did two different trick or treating events this year.  First our church did a trunk or treat, where people decorate the trunks of their cars and hand out candy from them.  We decorated our trunk and took the girls to trick or treat and to help hand out candy.  I am glad it was a nice night or it wouldn't have been near as fun, but we ended with a nice evening and it was fun to visit and hand out candy.

Olivia was Ariel this year.
And Claire was a garden fairy.
We did a beach theme for our trunk.

The girls passing out candy.

Then we did our annual trick or treating on Ridgetop with the Kopp family.  Now Olivia remembers that this is what we do and wouldn't have it any other way;-)  It was another nice night, we walked a long way, and got lots of candy.  Very successful!

Here are the girls before we left. Ariel, Garden Fairy, and Snow White

Aubrey's 1st Birthday

So this is way past due as Aubrey's birthday was the 13th and here it is the beginning of November.  But Aubrey had a great first birthday.  On her actual birthday we had her traumatizing one year appointment and had to have her blood drawn.  So she only opened one gift on her actual birthday.  So on Saturday we made her a gluten, egg and dairy free pumpkin cake as at that point I didn't know what was hurting her tummy.  It turned out really good actually.  She got to open the rest of her gifts which she really liked and it was a fun little party for our little one year old.

She loved her money from Great Grandma Betty!

 Happy little birthday girl!!

 Yummy!!

It is so fun to make a mess!

I realized the next morning that I forgot to take a picture of Aubrey with her birthday cake before I cut into it.  So I attempted to take a picture of her with her cake without showing the cut part ;-)

I still can't believe she is already one...time goes so fast.  In other news we did hear back on the blood test she had done on her first birthday.  Her body is functioning completely normal, she was only slightly anemic (all of my girls have been at this age), and she was negative for celiac disease and gluten allergy. We are still going to be seeing an allergist next week to rule out any allergies although she seems to be clearing up from her problems, but I want to know for sure that she is not allergic to anything.
