January Highlights

After the crazy month of December and all our traveling January seemed to fly by with just a lot of the normal stuff going on.  We were back to school and dance classes, cleaning and organizing, and all the things that seem to keep us super busy.  Here are a few picture highlights...

Stella in her short cut!
Aubrey and Raelyn were invited to their friend Audina's birthday tea party. I missed the memo about dressing up...oops!  I need to read things better...ack!  They still had a blast and the food and tea was super yummy!

Showing off some of our school work.  We have to submit examples of work each semester with the reporting I do for homeschooling program we do and so the few examples of work pictures you see are from that!

Raelyn lost her first tooth on January 18th.  Her teeth are so tiny they are pretty hard to pull.  I am hopeful her permanent teeth are much bigger and that she quits grinding her teeth!

We watched the lunar eclipse from our windows...that was fun! So cool to see and we didn't have to stay up too late!

Art is always fun...we have been trying to do more actual art this year and not just my hand print art that I love so much!
We did our first trip up to Crystal on a Saturday to do some night skiing.  This was our first time night skiing at Crystal and although it was nice to go on a Saturday and not have to leave super early (we left just after 10 am) I did not love our night skiing experience.  The mountain was crowded from 2 till 4 and there were not many lifts open for the night skiing portion. So it was a good first trip, but I don't know that we will be night skiing again any time soon.

So enthusiastic after a long day of skiing.

Little Samson likes to hide and crawl into any small spaces he can find.  Cats are so funny and cute.  This day he climbed into the back of the drawer that was open.
I love when the girls set up their elaborate Barbie houses.  They are so cute and creative!  They go in spurts of playing lots with them and then playing other things for a bit.
