The new year started off with snow and continuing to recover from the 'rona, but since Hans only had two days of symptoms and the youngest 2 were 24 hours or less, we were all pretty much better by this point. Olivia and I had lingering coughs, but other than that we were all feeling pretty good. The schools were shut down most of the week due to snow and ice on the roads. So it was a good time to stay home and continue to recover. And since we were all feeling better we went and played some in the snow. Although I must say after a week of snow we were all ready to see it go, well mostly me.

These girls doing some fun animal masks they got in their stockings.
My beautiful amaryllis! I love growing amaryllis bulbs each Christmas. My friend Sarah got me started on them, and I just love them each Christmas!
We got more snow! It looked so pretty, but really I was ready to move on. We are used to only having snow for a few days, not a few weeks!
I love putting up these little nativities each year, but I am guessing one Christmas soon I won't put them up as the girls are out growing them. They sure are cute though on my hearth!
My new Christmas ornaments I get each Christmas! One from my family and one I make on shutterfly. It is fun to have them all the tree and see the kids keep growing.
I am always sad to have to take my tree down each year. I really love the lights and pretty tree in my living room.
The girls always make so many fun ornaments as we talk through the Christmas story each year. They know the stories so well, but they also know they aren't just stories they are history and they are true and they change our lives when we accept them as just that.
Upside down for some reason but here is our very fun Marvel puzzle this year that we got for Christmas Adam.
On Janurary 8th the MSU Bobcats played in the National Championships down in Texas. The game was early in the morning, but we still had a party to watch it. We had the Kopps, Carlsens and Mills over. They all like college football and Corey attended and graduated from MSU as well. It was a terrible game and we lost terribly. But it was fun to have people over and I had to make lemon cupcakes for the occasion. They were so yummy!
On January 14th, we went and watched Jada's basketball game. It was really fun and a really good game! The girls were so close to winning, but they lost in the end.
Aubrey was having a lot of fun in gymnastics and she was doing really well. She decided to take a break from it in February though. Maybe she will go back someday. It was sure fun to watch her. She is so strong!
One nice day we went on a short hike with the Mills. It was nice to get some fresh air and see a new spot. Always fun to be in God's beautiful creation with friends.
One night we had an impromptu sleep over with Kopp kids. Jodie and Corey were at a game late watching Jada so we just kept all the kids over night. It was super fun!
Little Oliver likes to hang his head off the bunk bed....it is cute!
When the sun shines you gotta get outside and jump a bit. These girls are so cute!
More of Aubrey doing gymnastics! She is such a cutie. As I type this up I am sad that she stopped doing it and I miss it. {sniff, sniff}
More letting go...jackets that are too small and had to go. Always hard to let go of their littleness.
I happened to be outside working out one morning when this beautiful scene happened. Thank you God for the beauty you create! And beautiful flowers always make the winter just a little happier!
Cutie little kitty in a basket! You are probably tired of all the pet pics. What can I say we love our silly pets!
Another year started, another month passed. Time is just flying and I can't keep up. It is hard for me to be so far behind and I contemplate just giving up on my blog, but at the same time I really love having this to look back at and to keep track of all that we do. So on we go...trying to get caught up!
