November...Aubrey's birthday party, settling into school, having a new kitten, 2 Thanksgiving celebrations and getting ready for Christmas. November had a lot of fun!
This little kitty boy is so cute! But he is also super annoying! I had to get a picture of him with each of the girls.
This is the temple the girls made in E4M.
We needed to have Aubrey's birthday party in early November because some of her friends couldn't make it the other weekends. We had a fun little group of girls over to celebrate Aubrey. They hot tubbed, played, had ice cream cake and gifts.
Love this group of girls. Now one has moved away and another girl's family is planning to move away too.
It was that time of year where we try on skis and boots and to see what we need.
More gymnastic pics! Love watching this girl do gymnastics.
After 14 years of leading La Leche League I decided it was time to retire. I had actually just helped someone accredit right before COVID hit. She had to do her first leading of a meeting on zoom. I attended a few on zoom the summer of 2020 and since then have just been answering questions on the phone. But my co-leader and I both decided it was time in November and we sent in our resignation letters. It was sad. I was mostly sad that I never got to say goodby to the many lovely ladies in our group in person. The last meeting was not known that would be our last meeting. I loved connecting with moms and helping them with breastfeeding. And I still do, but it was time to let go. I know longer agree with many of the things that La Leche League stands for and the words they are changing things to. I want to help moms, women that breastfeed and nurture their babies. Not all the woke words they are trying to change our organization into. Anyways, I was sad to let it go, but relieved at the same time. The sweetest thing I received was these beautiful flowers from a mom that we helped and lives elsewhere now. They were so pretty and thoughtful and such a sweet note with it.
We went over Friday night and spent Saturday over with Hans' family and we did an early Thanksgiving celebration with them. It was a fun time. Yummy dinner and we played some fun games. The telestrations game had us all laughing!
I don't know why I took these, but they are funny...look at this crazy girl!
Pump park fun! the girls rarely ride bikes at the pump (bike) park. They usually like to play in the trees with their friends instead.
Look at this cute little boy coming out of the piano!
This devotion went so well with our E4M book I had to take a picture. Such a good reminder!
All three kitties on the same bed together! So cute!
Calendar picture for Thanksgiving! Thankful for these girls and that they will still let me take a picture.
This Thanksgiving I thought we were going to have dinner on our own, but it ended up the last minute we were able to have our friends the Mills over for dinner. It was fun to have a friendsgiving this year and be able to cook and entertain. It was a really fun Thanksgiving! And we were reminded (as we often are daily) to thank God for all he has given us. We are so blessed to have so many things! And we are most thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for us.
Even though it was only Thanksgiving I had already decorated for Christmas, which I like to do early these days. I think it is so fun to just get the Christmas tree after Thanksgiving and have they house all decorated for Christmas already. Here is our little Christmas kitty!
As is tradition the day after Thanksgiving we always go get our tree. That morning Hans and I went to Michauds and picked out a tree. It was a good thing we did because they had a huge turn out and sold a ton of trees that day! We went back that afternoon with the kids when we had been invited with other people from our church to hang out at the farm. As always it was a super fun day and we got a great tree!
Hans doing the zipline at the Michauds. It was quite funny!
And then we got the tree up and decorated and our decorating was complete! The tree turned out so pretty this year!
Just love this pic of my house, kitty and the flag!
Another fun month gone! Almost the end of 2021!!
