I wanted this to post in 2012 so when I print my blog books it is included in the right year, that is why the blog post was unfinished last night. Here is the last of our Christmas fun!!
This year for the first time in our married life we spent the entire Christmas break at home by ourselves with just our family of 6. We wanted to make it fun and relaxed for our family and start some of our own traditions and create fun family memories.
On Saturday we went to the zoolights something I have wanted to do for the last couple years, but never had time. The girls loved it! It was cold but not too bad and we all had a good time.
Aubrey was really proud of herself balancing on this mushroom.

At the end the girls rode the carousel. They all had a blast, but Aubrey especially seemed to enjoy the night. Running around doing her silly little fake laugh. Such a cutie right now.
On Sunday night we went to our church to watch the Seahawks game. It was fun to hang out with friends and have some good Mexican food. Naomi and Raelyn are just two months apart. I am sure they will buddies.
On Christmas Eve we did puzzles, opened presents from the grandparents, had lasagna for dinner, then headed to Christmas eve service at our church. When we returned home we opened our one present we open on Christmas eve which is always pjs and usually a little toy for the girls. They were so excited. We set out cookies and candy for Santa and some carrots for the reindeer and then it was off to bed.

Olivia was the first up Christmas morning. She knows what it is all about, so she was so excited to get downstairs and see what was there. Unfortunately the other girls were not as excited (and had been up late the night before) and slept in till 8:30 when I let Olivia wake up Claire and Aubrey.

Christmas day we opened gifts, made puzzles, played games, and ate prime rib (which I over cooked). It was a nice relaxing day of just being with our family.
The next couple days we tried to get the house back under control from all the new gifts and took it easy with us all suffering from colds. On Friday Claire decided she should cut her hair. It didn't look horrible as she really just snipped a few strands around her face, but she had been asking to cut it short since this fall so I gave in and cut it for them. I miss their long hair!! But their short hair cuts look cute too.

After we checked out we headed to Seattle in the hopes of seeing the King Tut exhibit at the Pacific Science Center. Olivia has been studying ancient Egypt this year in history and read a King Tut book so she really wanted to see it, but unfortunately it was sold out. So instead we just headed home to unpack.
I don't get many chances to take pics of my sleeping baby since she sleeps in our dark room so I had to take advantage of her sleeping on the hotel bed.
