This year the kids acted out the triumphal entry on Palm Sunday. They memorized some verses and laid the palm branches and then sang Cornerstone. It was a fun little show.
The week before we had to dye eggs. It is always a favorite. This year the girls were super patient and just took their time and had a lot of fun. I liked the marbled eggs that we dyed in a bag.
Another must do at Easter is to make sugar cookies. This is a labor of love on my part. It is a lot of work and creates a lot of mess, but they sure do love it! And who can resist a sugar cookie! Next year we need to share more of them with others though. We make too many and just can't eat them all!
Church Easter Egg hunt and we actually had some sun! We had a long winter with lots of rain, but we were so glad to have some warmth that day. It was so bright some of them had a hard time seeing for the picture as you can see. Some of the cute girls at our church.
The little girls were down in the playground which is much easier to take pictures in. So I got some cute ones of them. Not of the big girls who were off in the woods. Bummer! This is the first year the little girls actually had fun collecting and didn't whine the whole time completely missing out! YAY!
The older kid hunt for all the hiders. Which we were in charge of. They had water guns again and had a ton of fun!
