Our church had its 5th Annual Church Camp trip the middle of August. This is a trip we always look forward to as we always have so much fun with all of our friends from church. The kids especially love it because they always have lots of kids to play with. This year was a bit of a bummer, but we made the best of it. First the testing from Hans' project got pushed back and so it ended up being right during our camp trip. This meant that Hans could only take off one day (Friday) and not 4 like we had planned. It meant that we went up Wednesday after work, Hans got up super early and went to work all day Thursday, he stayed with us Friday, but we had to leave Friday night instead of Saturday morning because he had to work on Saturday. Second there was a burn ban and so there were no fires. We brought up a propane fire which helped but it still is not the same. And the burn ban was not lifted until mid day Friday. On top of this the weather was the worst we have ever had on one of our church camp outs it was raining when we arrived, it rained a bit on Thursday evening and it rained Friday morning and in the evening on Friday as well. Despite the rain, Hans working, and our early departure we still had lots of fun!
Here are some of our favorite pics!

Aubrey took a nap because she got up so early on Thursday morning.
Hudson and Claire are buddies! They were often riding bikes together and having lots of fun!
This year we decided to have a boat race. I didn't tell Claire about it soon enough so she was mad at me since she didn't get a boat made in time. They had to make the boats out of things from camp and then they raced them down the river. It was fun! Olivia's is the one with the purple cup on top.
Look at all the crazy kids swimming in the river! It was cold!
And of course we had to get some badminton in.
