Rolling over and other fun pics

Claire started rolling over last Saturday. I could hardly believe it. She can roll both directions but usually rolls from her back to her belly. She is happy this way for a little while but then she gets frustrated because she wants to move and get things. It is pretty cute though.

This is the first picture Olivia has taken by herself. She did pretty good although we got a few pictures of nothing, but that is the great thing about digital.

A daddy and his daughters

I was just looking through our pictures and found all these sweet pictures of Hans and his girls. I must say that for girls daddies are so great. Olivia looks up so much to Hans and loves being his little helper. She is so sweet when she wakes up and says, "Where is daddy?" and I say that he had to go to work and she responds, "I want daddy to come home." It just melts my heart. She is learning so much from him. Often now she will thank me for making such a yummy dinner without any prompts from us, and I know it is because of the example Hans has set for her of thanking me for making dinner. I am just so blessed to have a such a wonderful husband who is so caring and protective of his girls.

Daddy Daughter Ball

This last weekend Hans took Olivia to a daddy daughter ball at our church. They had dinner, made butterflies, and even had a dancing lesson of the waltz. Olivia was very excited to go and I had fun getting her all dressed up and ready. She was so anxious to go she climbed into her car seat before Hans and even started getting ready. They had a really fun time. Olivia did not want to dance with her daddy much though. She really liked to do her own thing and had fun dancing with her friend Hannah. She was the youngest girl there but I know that she will enjoy it even more as she grows older from year to year.

Claire and I didn't go. We went shopping for things for the house and it was nice for me to be able to get out with just one child to get out of the car seat. It was really quite strange, but I enjoyed spending some one on one time with my youngest.
Olivia loves to just run around.

Claire loved this swing at Grandma's house.

We flew to Montana on a night a couple of weeks ago. It was my first time flying by myself with 2 kids. Both of the kids did really well and luckily there were lots of nice people on the plane that helped out. Even though we were delayed almost an hour it was an enjoyable flight. We spent about a week at my parents house. Olivia had a great time reading with Papa, playing with Uncle Josh and Grandma Janice, and playing with all of the toys and the kitchen at the house. We had a big family dinner one night where Olivia was able to play with Michael (her second cousin) who just turned one. We were also able to get dresses all picked out and ordered for Carrie's(my cousin) renewal of vows ceremony which we will be returning for the beginning of August. We had a great time even though the weather was less than enjoyable and it even snowed all day one day. Unfortunatly we did not fly back to WA as we had to bring a bunch of stuff home and my mom kindly drove us back to WA and then stayed for about five days to help put together more of my house. I will have to put up our moved in pictures soon once I finish pulling everything together.

Congrats...Kopp family

Congratulations Jodie, Corey, and Jada on the arrival of Kelsey on May 25th (our anniversary). She is beautiful and we are so excited for her to grow up and be friends with our little Claire.
