Sweet Aubrey

This little girl is very loved!! She gets hundreds of kisses everyday and the girls just can't get enough of her. I really don't know how she sleeps with the constant kissing from the girls and noise. But she is a great baby and we are just eating her up. She is so little and sweet and it is so fun to see how excited the big sisters are. We have been taking it easy and just enjoying this little girl. Throughout the day though I get asked a hundred times it seems, "I hold her?" and Claire can get quite insistent about holding her. "Where is baby?" They always want to know where she is and want to see her so they can give her kisses. Claire likes to tell everyone we see, stranger or not, "That is my baby!!!" Olivia is often saying, "She is so cute!!!" I will have to get some video soon of them holding her and talking to her. It is quite precious. My mom left this past Tuesday and the Tolf grandparents arrived this morning. Hans and his dad are building a shed to help out with our storage issues in our garage. So I should have some pictures of that coming up. But for now here is the new love in our lives and so much cuter than a shed.

Here are some pictures of our sweet Aubrey and her doting sisters.

I was trying to get some pictures of just Aubrey but had a tough time as the girls wanted to be in the pictures with her.

Olivia's Soccer Video

Finally, after multiple attempts to get these uploaded I got a few clips uploaded of Olivia playing soccer. Don't mind all the yelling there was a lot of direction coming from the sidelines for these little ones!

Olivia's Soccer Season

I was definitely skeptical when we signed Olivia up for soccer this year that she wouldn't like it, but I was pleasantly surprised that she did like it and definitely improved from the beginning to the end of the season. She had a fun team and a great coach. They had 5 girls on their team as 1 never did show the whole season. The games were 3 on 3 with no goalies and so cute to watch. The teams they played either seemed to be older/bigger than them or younger/smaller than them. One team was made up of all 4 year olds and it was Olivia's favorite team to play because they could get the ball easier and make goals. Definitely helped to build their confidence. Throughout the season Olivia made 7 goals. She really loved making goals although we definitely tried to stress the importance of playing as a team and the other things that make you a good soccer player. Overall she had a great time, fun with her team, and learned lots. We hope that she will want to play again next year.

Here are some pictures from through out the season.

Olivia and Libby during one of their practices.

Claire was pretty good at cheering with me.

The team named the Strawberry Ladybugs, Coach Rob, Caylie, Libby, Ashlynn, Olivia, and Rylee

The last game was against Olivia's best friend, Jada's team. It was the night that we got out of the hospital and of course I had to go even though I was just 2 days post partum. These teams were the best matched as far as ability and it was fun to watch.

Kind of blurry but I love this action shot.

Claire Bear talking

Claire is at such a fun age right now. For the most part if she is fed and rested she is delightful to be around. She can be so sweet and loving it just melts my heart. Since Aubrey has been born she has been a little on the tired side so she has been whiny and having some tantrums, but that is to be expected with all the new things going on. Her sweet little voice and all the words she says just had to be recorded so that I can remember someday how she used to talk. So here are few short videos of her talking and doing some flash cards with me. Please ignore the talking from the other room asking Claire to come see something.

Claire is saying so much these days and for the most part I can understand most of what she says. She loves to sing and has started singing the ABC song, the monkeys jumping on the bed song, and some made up songs that she can sing for hours. She likes to say Olivia, which now comes out as Libiya when she is trying but she still uses Lala a lot. She likes to call me Becky randomly as well. This video was taken before Aubrey arrived but now she is pretty good at saying her name, but when you ask her what the baby's name is she says either Conner or "I don't know, you" Then when you tell her it is Aubrey she will repeat it.

Corn Maze and Pumpkins

On Tuesday, Oct. 12th we decided to get some walking in to try to get baby to come and it was beautiful out so we headed to a local corn maze. The girls had a blast walking through the maze looking for pumpkin faces and letters. Olivia did great writing down all the letters on her paper as walked through the maze for quite some time trying to find all the letters. And I lost the eye piece of my camera as it was loose and I didn't notice it until we got out of the maze.

The girls wanted pictures of all the pumpkin faces...

It was bright out and tough to get a good picture of the girls together.
Checking out the fuzzy caterpillar.
Writing down all the letters.

Afterwards we took a few pictures on the pumpkins and then picked out some pumpkins to decorate with our animal faces when we returned home. Getting a picture of Olivia actually looking at the camera is tough for some reason she doesn't like to look up at the camera.

We had fun and it might have helped to get my labor going as I did wake up the next morning with pre-labor contractions.
