Mother's Day Weekend Camping Trip

 On Mother's day weekend this year we went camping with some friends from work at Manchester State Park.  It was a nice weekend for weather so on a whim we decided we should go out.  We arrived around 6 on Friday night, got set up and then got the baby to bed.  She was tired!!

Saturday was a perfect day for weather.  The best part of camping with friends is that the kids have other kids to play with and can go riding bikes, and play around in the woods, leaving us just a bit of time to relax and talk with our friends.  We also took a walk down to the beach for a bit. Between cooking, visiting, cleaning up, and naps, it was a busy but fun day!

We haven't used our pack and play much but it was nice to have a clean spot for Raelyn to play in and Aubrey wanted in too!

Then little K came to play and Raelyn thought she could beat up on him since he was littler than her.

Sunday morning we had fresh baked cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, and bacon.  Then we packed up and headed home!  Both Aubrey and Raelyn were very tired and fell asleep on the way home.

For mother's day the girls and Hans gave me a Mother's ring with the girls' names and birthstones on it.  I love it!!

And I got a great shot of me and my girls!!  Love this!!

Claire Bear ~5 years

Our little Claire Bear turned 5 on March 9th but due to the busyness of the month and the lack of good weather I usually wait to take her yearly pics till the end of April or beginning of May.  A few weeks back we had some nice weather and we had to take advantage of it.

Little Claire is quite photogenic and she loves to dress up and get her pictures taken.  So I got lots of cute ones of our big 5 year old!

What to say about Claire?  Oh my there is so much to say about this little girl, I don't know where to start.  She is a beautiful girl inside and out.  She is growing up so much and I can't believe she is already 5 and going to be in kindergarten next year.  She loves writing her name and is liking learning how to write new letters and numbers.  She loves to dress up and be girly. She loves to sing, and talk her people all day long!  She loves to have her hair curled and makeup on (uh-oh!!!).  She loves to pick out her outfits and usually does a really great job matching and picking out cute outfits.  She loves to play with her sisters.  She loves princesses, babies (especially Raelyn!), littlest pet shop, etc.  She is becoming a really good helper and when she wants to can do an amazing job picking up.  She loves to help in the kitchen.  She is sweet, kind, loving, helpful, stubborn at times, shy, persistent, silly and funny.

We love you our sweet little 5 year old!  You are growing up so much and are such a wonderful addition to our family.  We can't imagine life without your dance shows, silliness, and sweetness!
