The Fourth of July

For the 4th of July we were at home and had the Chadwick's join us.  It was not the nicest of weather but we ended up having lots of fun.  The kids were begging most of the day to do fireworks.  They have come to love doing fireworks at home!!  They played outside with their cousins, the little ones took a nap (and so did some of the adults), and we decorated some sugar cookies.

This was suppose to be just the 4 girls, but Raelyn was uncooperative for the picture so it ended up being all the girls in the family ;-)

Finally we did some fireworks!  Snaps, poppers, smoke bombs, and the favorite was running after the parachute guys (which I have video of but no pictures as my camera battery died...and of course the video isn't uploaded yet).

All the cousins!

After dinner we ate some fresh ice cream!!

Can you tell they were excited?!

And then we did some more fireworks.  It was still light out as we could just not be patient enough to wait for dark {grin}!

Liam didn't like the loud noises so he preferred to watch from inside.

We had a really fun day and evening!  Stay tuned for our camping adventure we embarked on the next day!

Raelyn's Birthday Party

For first and second birthday parties we tend to keep them pretty low key.  So for Raelyn's birthday this year it was just us celebrating.  We decided to head to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner and playing.  The girls love to go here and play the games and ride the rides.  After that we headed home for cake, ice cream and gifts.  It was a fun evening and fun to celebrate our little girl!

She is signing more in this picture!  She just loved putting in the tokens even more than the ride.

Happy 2nd Birthday Raelyn Rebecca!

June Cuteness...

We had some nice weather in June.  The girls had fun playing in this new little sprinkler I got them.

We finished up our shed and it looks great!  Our big "toy" box for all the bikes, trikes, and outdoor toys.

Squishy faces....

I love this girl.  She loves to dress up and on this day it was as a little bride.  Complete with my wedding tiara, wedding gloves, ring, flowers.  She wants to get married and have babies some day.

On Father's Day it was raining so we couldn't go boating or camping like Hans wanted to.  But it was also the weekend of a very low tide so we headed out in the sprinkles to the beach to check out the tide pools.  The girls absolutely loved it!  We are learning about sea creatures in our science co-op this summer so it was really fun.

A wild bunny we saw while we were walking.  Their are lots in our neighborhood.

Towards the end of June Grandma Janice came to watch the girls in their dance show.  We had a busy fun time.  We went shopping at Alderwood Mall one day and got Claire her first American Girl doll.  She chose Julie.

Grandma had fun putting together a fairy village with the girls outside.  It is really cute!

We also painted my master bathroom, did some other shopping and played outside while Grandma was here, and of course had lots of time working on hair and watching the girls in their dance show.

Carrying my baby!  She is getting so big now, but still loves to climb on back at times.  She will even say, "back, back" now when she wants to ride on my back.

Playing at the park.
