April was super busy and filled with a lot of dance! The month started with Easter which I recently posted about and then we headed into spring break. On spring break my "BIG" project was to get some cleaning and organizing done. This seems to always be my project and be on my to do list. I really don't know how to get these things off of my to do list...lol! To clean up the school room I took some pictures of some of the projects the girls made at homebase this year...

The school room finally got clean...unfortunately I am just really good at moving piles around so I think it got clean because I moved the piles to the dining room table...lol! And now it is just as messy as before and needs another cleaning...ugh!

That weekend Grandma Mary came for the weekend.
That weekend Grandma Mary came for the weekend. We played games, went to dinner and Raelyn learned how to ride her bike with Grandma in less than 30 minutes. On Sunday the girls had a full dress rehersal at the studio and Grandma Mary was able to watch which was so nice since she wouldn't be able to come to the show. Here are the younger girls all ready for their practice.
When we dropped Grandma at the ferry we had to get a picture in the big chair!
My mom came the weekend before the show to help us out in multiple ways. The Saturday after she got here, Hans and I took a long trek to get our new camper trailer from Eric (who also took a really long trek for us...thank you!!). Mary and Eric found a great camper for a great buy in Manhattan so they purchased it, back in March for us and on this Saturday we drove to meet Eric in Spokane to get it. We left around 5 in the morning and got to Spokane just before noon. It took a bit to get the truck all set and hooked up and we had battery problems so we ended up buying a new battery there in Spokane. The battery kept not starting and we would have to jump start the truck, not something we wanted to deal with while pulling a trailer.
With the dance show comes pictures, rehersals (full dress and regular), and of course the show! So busy, but also so fun!
Raelyn was the cutest little Muse.
Claire was a Nymph.
Aubrey was a Sprite
Bows...
Olivia was the lead in Footloose...one of our favorite to watch but not her favorite to dance.
| The Egyptians were too cute not to get a picture of. |
Our friend Hannah was a sassy pirate. She is in the blue and green checkered outfit.
Kei (graduating senior) played the lead Schekmet.
This hip hop class was really cute and as always had a fun dance!
Olivia's friends Abby and Kayla with senior T.S....they danced to "Happy Face".
The girls after the show! They look so pretty all made up with their buns! Love these girls and loved watching them dance!
All of their pretty flowers at home in the new ballet vases I got for the girls.
On Sunday morning after having the big show all weekend, the girls' homeschool jazz class performed to "The Gospel" at out church. I must say this dance is one of my favorite and it is such a powerful song! The girls did a great job and really impacted a lot of people at the church!
