Random November Pictures

Here are some random pictures from November.  I did not do very good taking pictures this month and we have not done much fun.  Our fall seems pretty lame this year since we keep thinking we will be moving soon, we are often working hard at trying to pack up more stuff and then we get pushed back again so then we just do life.  All our activities, school, eating and chores take up most of our days, it is hard to fit in extra time for packing or cleaning or other things that need to be done.  I have also been trying to get a jump start on the holidays and get calendars made, Christmas cards ordered, and gifts ordered online.  I must admit I am addicted to Amazon and it is the only way I can really get any shopping done, because going shopping on my own is near impossible these days with Hans working so much. And I just don't have time to go searching at a hundred different stores for gifts.

These pictures are all out of order since some of them are from my phone and some are from my regular camera and I don't have time to put them all in order.  So you get you what you get!  HA!

Our little climber and princess and in a castle...

Going for a walk on a nice day!

Yummy beaters!

At a gymnastics birthday party. The girls loved it and now both want a gymnastics party since the birthday girl gets to go on the big jumping spinning thing (I have no idea what it is called).

Time for a quick craft!

All the girls in Claire's Minnie hat from Tokyo disney.

Matching girls...

This is her open your eyes big and smile face....a little more scared than smiling!  LOL!

And I want my picture too!  (since I was taking a few more Christmas pictures of Raelyn ;-))

A quick story about Aubrey.  We were at a restaurant and she said, "Mommy, I love you so much!  I will always love you.  You are beautiful!"  I love those spontaneous moments of love.  All of the girls do them but this time just stuck out as she was so sincere and so loving.  Raelyn loves to give kisses these days that are so cute and lots of sweet hugs with her short little arms wrapped around your neck.  The absolute best!  Definitely looking forward to the holidays fast approaching with my girls.  Now if we could just get moved so I could sorta settled and get to love on my girls instead of packing, moving and painting!  Come on builders....

Oh the Joys of Building...

Well not really!!  Sure it has been fun to watch it go up and we are more than excited about getting moved in.  But this process has been a long one...much, much, much longer than we ever expected.  We put our offer in on this house the beginning of March they started towards the end of April and we thought we would be in at the latest the end of September (original paperwork said August 31st).  We are getting close but have been frustrated as we get pushed back and pushed back pushed back.  Here are some phone pictures I have taken over the last month or so.

Finally the right lighting!  One mistake they made was to put in all brushed nickel lighting.  Yes I liked brushed nickel, but all the other fixtures are to be oil rubbed bronze.  So we asked they change them all to match the rest of the house!

Here is the kitchen, but get this....they put in the wrong granite!!  Yes this granite is very nice, but not what we chose.  UGH!!  It will be changed out, but again holding us up.

So far we are really liking everything, but just super frustrated with how slow they are going.  We were told we would get to move in by November 23rd, but today I talked to the superintendent who happened to be at the house when I stopped by and he said it wouldn't be done till the end of the month.  Seriously??  Why are you here and no one else is here working.  An entire day wasted with nothing happening.  I am beyond frustrated.  We can't get a for sure date and now we will be moving either the weekend of Thanksgiving or the following weekend, we really don't know and can't get anyone to give us an answer that they are going to stick to. Oh the joys!!  This is tough for my type A planning personality and I am a perfectionist to boot.  Pray for me (us)!!

Halloween Fun

We had 3 nights of Halloween fun!!

The first night we went to a Harvest Party at a friend's parents church.  It was kind of small and all 3 of the younger ones were not into playing the games.  Consequently they didn't get much candy which is good!!  They had fun dressing up though and it was nice to be inside.  Before we left I took a few pictures of the girls.  Our cheerleader, Snow White, Ariel, and strawberry....

As I went to take this shot I realized I had horrible finger prints all over my lens.

By the time I got it cleaned Raelyn had disappeared.  Oh well my two little princesses.

The next night we had Trunk or Treat at our church.  I wasn't going to do a trunk since we are int he midst of moving, but it is Olivia's favorite part.  So we went the easy route and did a camping scene in the back of Hans' truck.  Instead of working on it all day as I usually do.  We spent most of the day carving pumpkins which we added to our decorations.   And of course I didn't take any pictures while we were actually carving.  It ended up being mostly mommy who did all the carving and a little bit of Olivia.  Oh and the last two nights Aubrey decided to be a ballerina instead of Ariel.

Our friends Corey and Jodie did Noah's Ark.  It turned out super cute!

We had our friends bring a propane stove for us to borrow.  I wanted to do light it but Hans was too worried for safety reasons so we used orange lights instead.  It turned out really cute, but the warmth would have been nice!!

The girls had fun but spend most of the night in watching a movie in the church.  So I felt kind of sad and like it wasn't a very good family event since Hans and I were tied to passing out candy.

Lastly on Halloween we had a crazy day.  I had planned to do school, fun ghost and spider hand print art, and get some fun Halloween attire pictures, but the night before found out we needed to show our house to some potential renters on Friday so instead we did school, squeezed in a few pictures of the girls, and cleaned house before heading to our friends house to do our traditional Halloween pizza dinner and trick or treating in their neighborhood.

Pictures of each of the girls in their Halloween shirts.  Unfortunately I found after I downloaded them that I had forgotten to get a few more pictures of Aubrey.  Her session was interrupted by Raelyn and Claire throwing a fit over not getting to go first.

This picture makes me laugh because she looked so cute walking with her bucket and I wen to take a picture and she went flying into the bark.  Poor baby!!

It was a nice night for trick or treating and all the kids had fun!!
