We try to have poetry tea once a week (sometimes we miss though) and we started working on memorizing Stopping By the Woods On A Snowy Evening by Robert Frost. The girls did a great job memorizing it and saying it. Here are a few videos of the girls doing it. Sorry for the bad video quality of Aubrey!
I got to take some head shots for Audina one day at the studio. The little girls were excited to spend a little time with their friend too!
And then it was time to start on our Grand Prix cars. Raelyn was so excited to make her car this year! She could hardly wait!
Raelyn loves to dance (most days) and does a great job in class at standing in her positions, listening and dances very nice. This is a picture from one day where she got to show us a little dance she learned and likes!
It has been 10 years now since I became a LLL leader. This is a picture from one Wednesday where the kids were playing school or something oh so nicely!
One weekend we went to Audinas' birthday party at the roller skating rink. It was a bit crazy for my quiet shy girls. But they had fun roller skating for the second time in their lives and having fun!
Claire dances late at night from 6:30 to 7:30! I was yawning the whole time and the ballet music was not helping! Ha!
Raelyn's necklace she made at Homebase!
Valentine's day pictures were a bit rushed since it was actually Valentine's Day and we had a lot to do that day (as we do every day). This is reminding me that I need to find a spring day to get pictures of the girls again here soon!
Group picture is always a challenge due to the uncooperative oldest child who thinks she is above having her picture taken these days. URG!
That weekend was the concert we had been waiting for! The Toby Mac Hits Deep Tour was February 16th in Seattle and we were so excited that we had tickets with a group from our church. And it did not disappoint! Such a fun concert and so many great bands, songs and worship! I had so much fun and so did the girls! Raelyn slept through a good portion of it which is amazing with how loud it is in there!
Outside play with the neighbors! This little kitchen gets so much use. The girls (and the neighbors) love it!
We had a cold week and got a bit of snow that stuck around for a bit.
I was mean and didn't let them come in even though it was so cold out!
Silly Valentine Lips!
The next Tuesday I got to watch Raelyn's dance class. It worked out well that Raelyn's watch week got shifted one week as her and Aubrey dance at the same time so I would have had to choose otherwise. She is so serious when she dances and does very well. She seems to be one of the oldest in her class as many are quite silly and unfocused. So far she really likes dancing and has the long legs and arms of a beautiful dancer!
That Thursday we got snow! A snow day which turned out to be a good day! Hans slid down a road that morning so I decided it was best to stay home. The kids went out and played a bit in the snow and then the neighbors came over to play and they had blast!
