July-Banks Lake and Backpacking

July is one of our favorite months of the year. Fourth of July, Banks lake, boating, sunshine, not much better than that.

So here goes...trying to get caught up on my blogging...July in pictures!

This year we went to a Fourth of July party at our friend's house on the water. It was a fun day to celebrate. The girls had fun doing paint all over themselves. We had yummy food and fun fellowship.

My gorgeous girls!

Hans was still in San Diego finishing up the project and getting ready to head home in just a couple days.

One family brought a fun potato gun.

Sparkler time!

And a few fireworks!

That evening we went to Kingston to watch the fireworks and listen to Tracy Marsh's band. It was a fun night...crazy amount of people and traffic though!

Meanwhile we were prepping for Banks lake! And my blueberries and raspberries where starting!

This was our flag on our camper this year!

My flowers were looking so pretty!

Hans surprised me and came home a day early on the 6th. He had told Olivia and made a whole plan with her to pick him up from the airporter and surprise me. It was really fun to be surprised and to have him home a day early to help us get all ready to go on our big camping trip. I had been worried the whole time he was down in San Diego that he might not make it home for our Banks trip, so I was so glad when it did end up working out. We took off early on Wednesday the 9th.

I tried to not put on too many pictures, but it is honestly impossible. I think I have a good representation of all the girls and what they were doing. Knee boarding. wake boarding. some tubing. Hans did some skiing and worked on his wake boarding. We started to have some boat problems again a few days in with not a lot of power in the boat pulling especially Hans and we were getting the popping again. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same fix as last year. The frustration with a boat that isn't working well is an understatement. It is so frustrating and angering. But the first couple days it was going well. Our boat was down about 3 days total. Hans figured out that the fuel injectors were not working and that they needed to be replaced or cleaned. We found a place in Spokane that could clean them. So Hans spent 2 days driving back and forth to get them cleaned. One day there to drop them off and then the next day to go pick them up. UGH! It was a pain, but it did the job and the engine worked great after they were cleaned and replaced in the motor. It stunk to have our boat not work about half the trip again though.

Perry was there with his sailboat. And he had some good wind!

Olivia is getting good at jumping the wake!

Stella is a trooper and just happy to be taken along!

It is just so pretty there!

We had lots of jet skis with our group this year!

Sarah made us yummy drinks and of course there was lotus!

They made a pyramid on the tube! Pretty cool!

Tubing is always so fun with friends!!

Hannah and D having some bonding time on the tube...lol!

Olivia went out with Perry and some others and they were ripping around the lake the wind was so strong.

The last couple days was just us and the Mills and my parents and the boat was working again!

The girls and I went out to see the sunset!

We got back and the babies were gone...one lone egg that never hatched. It was laid late I think.
More yummy blueberries! We got a good crop this year!

We got back from Banks and Olivia and I turned around the next day and headed to Central Washington University for her orientation and registration. This is a picture of her dorm and her room from the window looking in. It was a fun little quick trip to Ellensburg.

More produce from my garden!

Zinnias are always so pretty!

Love these sisters!

Claire and Kelsey had their dream day of going to the Morgan Wallen concert in Seattle. They were able to get some last minute tickets and ride with their friends to the arena. They both said it was the best day of their life!! They looked adorable for sure!

Some people at church have an in ground outdoor swimming pool and invited all the girls over. Raelyn had a blast swimming with her friends!

And then it was time for the annual backpacking trip. This year was another beach trip and the first year Olivia didn't go. The girls took some convincing but ended up going and having fun.

The annual before you go pics!

We had a smaller crew this year. A lot of people backed out last minute. But they ended up having a lot of fun. Todd didn't end up going because of his thumb injury that had happened early in July, so Hunter went as the chaperone to the other 2.

Back at home I was still picking veggies and berries! Lol!

Pictures from the backpacking trip.

And back at home I was working on my annual (and never ending) school room clean up!

Back at the beach trip! So pretty! Wish I could go along someday! Maybe next time I will go.

I love this!!

These boys had quite the set up! And cooked a lot of extravagant food...lol!

Back at home we were out on the lake again for some sun and paddleboarding!

And 2 of my kitties! They are the cutest!

And there you have July in a large nutshell! So many pictures! It was a lovely month...on to August!
