March was a busy month! There were 2 birthdays, we had a very spring ski day (instead of our ski trip which was a bummer, but was needed), Easter, spring break, Olivia had her wisdom teeth out, and Hans had a trip to Singapore. So here is March in review with pictures!
When you get snow in March and your kitty looks so pretty in front of the window.
I planned a game night at church the beginning of March. It was a fun night to play games and have a potluck!
Michelle was being her crazy self!
Next stop was goodwill!
I kinda think Aubrey should have gotten these!
Aubrey liked being taller than Claire in them!
Then we went off to the mall to see if we could find a dress for Claire there...We lost the older girls at one point which was really frustrating. And then we finally tried on some dresses for Claire. It was no luck though. We went home to start and try to find the perfect dress on Amazon...That proved to be difficult since we waited too long to order and then had to pay extra shipping to get it there on time...ugh!
I was really tired after all this shopping, but it was so fun to hang out with these fun girls! And I think they all found some fun finds to bring home. Well except Claire.
I got my tomato seeds planted to start.
These girls are the sweetest friends!
I got to sit in and watch the dance class one day and get a few pictures.
I decorated the next day even though we didn't have a party planned I wanted it to be special for her!
Kelsey is the sweetest friend and put these daily gifts together for her to open each day leading up to her birthday. It was so fun for her and such a sweet and thoughtful way to give Claire her gifts.
Crepes for dinner!
This was the case w had for a long time and the girls decorated it with stickers. I didn't have a spot for it once I moved things around on the school room.
Raelyn got her splits down!
Flashback...not sure why this is on my camera roll. I bet Aubrey added it there. Look at these 2?? So little and just the cutest!
And a day at co-op Olivia G. and Raelyn hanging out.
She is the only one who will still participate in my holiday pics for the calendar. I'm so thankful for her!
I did not ski, but I did get a gondola pass and rode up to the top to see everyone and get some pictures.
Todd and Hans wore these all day! They were hilarious!
I always get good pictures of Olivia because I can spot her with her pants. I sometimes miss the other girls because she is after them and I can't spot them as easy!
I took Olivia's pass and skied one time down the bunny hill. And I was reminded why I don't ski. I just hurt!! My knee just hurts. It is a bummer!
It was so warm I even took my sweatshirt off for a bit and just wore my tank top. The girls and Hans just kept taking off clothes it seemed like.
Some pictures from some of the other cameras...

I got myself some flowers because Hans was gone. He flew out the day before my birthday for Singapore.
The girls had fun with their friends while they were there too.
The next night we went to Olive Garden for my birthday dinner with the girls. We had a great time!
Meanwhile here was Hans at the Singapore airport! This cone fountain was pretty cool!
And he did some ziplining with his friends near the beach. No pictures of the ziplining.
This is where Hans was saying and the fountain was in the dome thing. It was all right at the airport.
I went to take a picture of Raelyn's beautiful art she had done and dropped my phone right on it and messed it all up! I was so mad at myself!
She took the time and redid it and I got a good picture this time, before she put them away. She never did iron them.
Me with my cupcake and my new sweatshirt from Olivia.
More flower pictures...lol!
We had these girls over while Hans was away... I think!
Raelyn went to BSF with me and we took a picture with this pretty tree in bloom.
This is the last time I got pictures of the flowers on our tree as it has died this summer. I am super sad about that!
I went in for a workout over spring break! That was fun!
Aubrey and Claire for comparison.
Meanwhile Hans was still in the middle of the ocean near Singapore and then he was flown off the carrier and this is what it looked like! We didn't know if he would be home for Easter, but ended up getting off and coming home before Easter which was good.
My dad sent me this picture of my Great Great Grandpa's obituary. It was very interesting to read.
Easter morning baskets!
All the cute girls at church hanging out...
Back at home for the traditional Easter pics! They look so pretty!
The girls still did their hunt although they are less and less excited about it each year. They did it for me and Raelyn!
They took this picture because Auntie Anna asked for it! They would not have smiled like this for me...sadly! It turned out so cute!
My little sweetie who will still take pictures with me!
These younger girls wanted to take Claire and Sophia shopping for spring formal dresses that was in April. Sophia already had a dress so we were really looking for Claire. But at this second hand store they each tried on a dress and they looked so cute! It was really fun!
Michelle was being her crazy self!

I kinda think Aubrey should have gotten these!

We did a Nature group this year and hardly ever made it. It was just so hard. Raelyn and I went this day though and she learned how to make little baskets which was kind of fun and it was nice outside.
These girls are the sweetest friends!
This was my Grandma's birthday (March 8th), we celebrated with making jello in her jello cups just like she used to and having mac and cheese and BBQ chicken. It was a yummy dinner and nice to think of my Grandma on her day.
March 8th is also the last night of Claire being 15 this year. She turned 16 on the 9th! 16!! Craziness!
Crepes for dinner!

I did some more cleaning and decided to take down Aubrey's very cute planet order she made way back when at homebase. It was up above the door for quite sometime, but I finally took it down. Had to get some pictures before I did though.
This was the case w had for a long time and the girls decorated it with stickers. I didn't have a spot for it once I moved things around on the school room.
Raelyn got her splits down!
Pi day! You have to do this kind of stuff when you are a math teacher! Or when you like to celebrate fun days!
This was our pretend ski cabin night, I think. We had to cancel our ski trip with the Mills for multiple reasons and so we had them over one night to pretend we were at the ski cabin. The kids played games and the adults hot tubbed. It was fun! Not the same as ski cabin fun, but still nice to get together.
Raelyn had fun making these, she never did heat them up to keep them together though...
Then it was St. Patrick's day! One of my favorites!!
She is the only one who will still participate in my holiday pics for the calendar. I'm so thankful for her!
We did end up doing a ski day with the Mills to Crystal. It had been a long time since we had gone to Crystal, like before Covid I think. So a while. It had changed a lot and was a really warm spring day. It was fun to get up to the hill together though.

| Haha! This picture makes me laugh with Todd sitting in the back! |
I'm not sure when I took this...hmmm! Beautiful though!

I got myself some flowers because Hans was gone. He flew out the day before my birthday for Singapore.
My birthday was on a co-op day and the girls had dance so we didn't go out to dinner that night. But I was very surprised by my friends when I got home from picking Raelyn up from dance I was expecting Jodie to be there to bring me my birthday cupcakes I requested. But I found a whole group of my friends who came down my stairs and surprised me and sang to me. It was really fun! I wish I would have gotten a video or picture of everyone, but didn't think of it till afterwards. I did get this one with these sweet friends. Sarah planned it and it was a really fun surprise.
The girls had fun with their friends while they were there too.
Look at this memory! They grow up so fast!!
This is where Hans was saying and the fountain was in the dome thing. It was all right at the airport.
The roses I bought and the flowers Jodie brought me.
I went to take a picture of Raelyn's beautiful art she had done and dropped my phone right on it and messed it all up! I was so mad at myself!

Getting to be spring and my kitty is outside in my flowers!!

I colored Claire's hair in March for the first time. We did a pull through cap and did just a small amount of highlights the first time. She was maybe freaking out at me a bit while we were doing it, but it was a good first time and we learned a lot about timing, how much to pull, how long it all takes, etc. Overall she was happy with her first highlight. Here is a before and after.
Aubrey and Claire for comparison.
We were on spring break and the girls still like to dye eggs so of course we had to spend an afternoon dying eggs. They turned out pretty! I'm not sure they spent as much as time as they usually do. Raelyn did as she was still more into it than the other girls. I love the very Christ focused decorating though!
All the eggs together!
My dad sent me this picture of my Great Great Grandpa's obituary. It was very interesting to read.
Another tradition we have is to make resurrection gardens each year. This years turned out really nice! We did them in the back yard this year and it was kind of fun to be back there.
Another tradition is to make an Easter cake and decorate it. This was the lemon raspberry cake with lemon icing. Since we didn't do sugar cookies this year, we didn't have all the colors pre-made so we just made one color to decorate with this year. Maybe next year we will be able to do all the colors again.
Anna came over for the afternoon to hang out with us!
Olivia never found one of her eggs that Anna hid...lol!
They took this picture because Auntie Anna asked for it! They would not have smiled like this for me...sadly! It turned out so cute!
Well that is finally a wrap on March! I think I have been working on this post off and on for over a month now. Now that summer is over and we are back to school, maybe I will have more evenings to get caught up on my blog posts from this year. These girls are growing up on me too fast!! It is almost time to start getting pics uploaded and make the calendar...crazy! I post date all of these posts so they seem like I get them done in a more timely fashion...lol!!
