Soccer, baths and dress up...

Claire has been doing soccer on Wednesdays while Olivia practices.  It is really cute and she is really liking it, although she says she still likes dance better and still wants to do gymnastics in the fall.  I love watching her giggle and play and have fun!  Raelyn was having fun too!

Raelyn finally tolerates the bath and actually likes it for a short time.  She has been showering with me like all my babies do at this age and then taking a short bath when I get done.  She is too cute!

Claire and Aubrey love to dress up and you never know what they might decide to wear.  On this day it was my shoes and my scarves. (And unfortunately I took these pictures with my cell and they just don't work very well and are pretty much always blurry since the girls just can't seem to hold still....)

I love their smiles!  I love their attitude!  I love their moves!  I love to watch them dance!!

She's walking!!

My baby girl is walking.  She started taking steps before her first birthday, but continued to practice and practice till about a week ago she decided she could walk most of the time.  She is still fairly slow, but getting faster every day.  And she can get into so much more now that she is up off the floor she just sees more.  I love her curious little mind, but it keeps me on my toes.  She also loves to be down more which makes baby wearing a bit more difficult since she just kicks and wiggles till I let her down.

I definitely think this 1 to 2 year age range can be one of the most difficult.  She wants to be a big girl, but can't always be one.  And she always want to be down, but can't always be.  It is fun to see this new stage though!!

I love this sweet smile.  Her eyes light up and she just glows!!  She is just so proud of herself and happy to be complemented!

4th of July

We had a fun and laid back 4th of July this year.  It was just us celebrating and it was really nice.  I made a red white and blue breakfast. Well my "red" eggs look a bit more orange than red, but I didn't have much coloring.  Maybe next year I will try to get them more red.

After breakfast we discovered that we might have fleas in our house as Raelyn had a bunch of bites all over her back.  So we did some vacuuming and packed a lunch and stuff for the beach.

When we left the house though it didn't wasn't near as nice as we were hoping so we just headed to the park to eat our lunch and not to the beach we had planned on going to.

It was nice to just eat and relax in the park.

After the park we headed home for a Raelyn (and daddy) nap and some fireworks.  I did the poppers and non flame fireworks with the girls.

When Raelyn and daddy woke up we did some more fireworks.  Smoke bombs, snakes, and the favorite parachute firework.  The girls loved doing fireworks!!

After dinner and a bike ride.  We had our jello dessert.  So yummy and cute I might add!!

We finished the night with sparklers and a few more fireworks.

You can see all her flea bites!  So sad!
